Young Artist Camp

SKB provides funding for the Young Artist Camp in Richmond, Indiana. Art instruction is provided for artists ages five through eighth grade in the Richmond City School System at the Richmond Art Museum. Funding is provided for a two fulltime instructors; Theresa Goss and Sontina Reed Hall. Two classroom interns assist with the instruction as well.

Students learn age appropriate skills from painting to tie dying and a range of instructional activities. Classes are taught at the museum and an open house is held to display the student art. The Reid Hospital Foundation holds an auction to raise funds in support of the Young Artist Camp. SKB funds support teacher salaries and Art supplies.
